Hey Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend! Mine has been inspiring!
I have been mule deer hunting with my friend Dustin for the past 2 days and will be hunting Monday and Tuesday with him too.
Today, Dustin is 93 days post Stem Cell Transplant and had his 32nd chemo treatment just last Tuesday. We had started planning this mule deer hunt way back in June before Dustin went in for his second battle with cancer.
Just weeks ago Dustin was still unsure if he would even be able to hunt this weekend, with low energy he wasn’t sure if tackling the rigors of pack in’s and all the miles it takes to shoot a mule deer was even going to be possible…
…This moring we hiked in about 3 miles in the dark in some pretty tough country, Dustin kicked my butt to the side of the ridge where we were going to set up. He had me by steps the entire hike in. He believes in himself, and the steps he is taking today are for a reason, and that is why he inspires me.
Isn’t that what life’s about? believing in your dreams? Stop and think, do you seriously believe in your dreams? Do you really believe they will come true? Do you? Do you believe in yourself? Do you have confidence in your daily process that you can do it?!? Do you believe God has a plan for you and you are One of a kind?
I have to admit, it’s hard as hell somedays to believe, it’s going to tear you apart, but that’s what will set you apart.
Have an awesome week everyone!
Best,
Jordan Miller
