Good morning!

I hope you all had a great weekend and have this week all planned out for how you are going to accomplish your goals, because the more we accomplish the happier we will be right? Well maybe part of the time, here are my thoughts:

In my profession I am lucky enough to help change peoples habits, help them build positivity into their lives. With that comes goals and a plan of attack on how to reach them. But what I have often seen is people reaching their goal and finding that happiness doesn’t stick around. Then they go backwards, even farther backwards than where they started.

Now I’m not saying don’t set goals, I am a complete advocator in setting goals and looking at them everyday! What I am saying is find the true meaning behind your goal. If you think losing 30 pounds and getting to 8% body fat will make you happy it won’t, at least not for long, if you think saving and scrounging to buy the newest bow or Gucci bag will make you happy, it won’t for long. True happiness isn’t found in these types of things and is something I have been finding this past year. What we think makes us happy, is often wrong.

Find the deeper meaning behind your goal setting and you will find true happiness that sticks around.

Have an awesome week!

P.S. This makes me happy!
