Monday Minute “Memories”

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful week!

I have to say mine was very memorable. I was out in the Black Hills of South Dakota for most of the week pursuing bull elk. A tag I have been applying for since I was 13 years old. It surly has been a dream of mine to draw that tag. I grew up hearing stories of my dad, grandpa and uncles hunting elk in the hills. The last time my dad and grandpa drew that tag was the late 80’s early 90’s. It does take time and commitment in order to draw this tag.

More importantly than the tag itself and the nice bull I was lucky enough to harvest was the memories built with my dad and brother. Both my brother and dad came along with cameras and documented the experience. It truly was an emotional and memorable morning when we harvested the bull together.

My point being it is easy to get caught up in the moment and forget bout true things of value, like memories that stand the test of time! This trip with my family was part of my destiny that I’ll remember forever.

Moving forward into your week, don’t forget to build memories

John 14:26

But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
