BIG South Dakota Archery 8 point!–Moments #6

This was really awesome!! I was sifting through and old hard drive from 2011 and found this “lost footage” from a deer hunt with my dad! This was before Run2GunTV was even a thought. We were building the business structure of the training and physical fitness side of Run2Gun, but not TV.

We scouted hard all summer and had several years of hunting this property, I came home from college on a Thursday night to check trail cameras on Friday morning. I thought I had every deer pegged in the area, but this BIG 8 showed up out of no where! I only had 1 picture of him! We set up the next morning on a Milo field where a couple of these big bucks were still feeding early mornings. It was a chilly, rainy morning and we predicted it right! 2 nice bucks, one being the new 8 point showed up and worked within 20 yards of our blind!

The deer worked to the backside of the blind, so dad had to set the camera down, open the back window of the blind for me to quickly shoot the buck! The shot was farther back, we snuck up on him a few hours later and got another shot on him, he ran and bedded down in a creek only 100 yards from our property line!! We waited until the following morning to go find him and there he was!!

Always awesome finding old footage like this!!!  Please subscribe to our YouTube channel for more great video content!

Moments #5–Alaskan Shenanigans

More unseen footage from season4, this time us keeping it light when the sitka blacktail hunting was terrible for the first 4 days!  We explored the coast and had a little fun!

BIG Montana Elk!–Run2Gun Moments #4

Our moments series gives you the chance to see so much of our video content that goes unseen on our hit TV series Run2GunTV  that airs on the Pursuit Channel, Midco Sports Network and CarbonTV.  On average around 80-85%of what gets film, never gets aired!! What a bummer! We decided to release it to you here, on our YouTube page! Here is some unseen footage from Matts archery elk hunt this past season on the end of day 9 of his hunt!! They come across this massive bull right before dark!! How big do you think it scores?!?!

Range Day with CTS Targets Part1

Happy Monday!

Back in January we got the opportunity to try out some new products that coupled well with our long range rifle and custom reloads.  CTS target systems, a company out of Springfield, Minnesota that produces AR500 steel targets that are extremely innovative!  We didn’t realize just how cool all the products were until we started putting them together on the first day.  Whether you are looking for a simple, portable target that lasts, or great valued targets to put in your retail store, CTS targets delivers just that.  WE had a riot shooting our rifles and attempting to be good at our pistols that day! Enough of me talking!  Below is part 1 of 3 of us out using their products for the first time!  Trust me, you’ll feel our excitement! Enjoy!
